SLPs manage a caseload by keeping each student's goals, history and records in one place and reviewing them before every session. In EASI, each student or patient has one profile, and you can ask MySLP about goals, history and past findings before you plan. Its answer is advisory, so check the source record before you rely on it.
With a full caseload, it helps to get a student's goals and history in front of you before each session. In EASI, each student or patient has one profile, and MySLP can answer your questions from the information you choose to keep there. To see how profiles, goals, notes and progress fit together, read about SLP caseload management software in EASI.
Step 1: Keep one profile per student
Open a student's profile in EASI. The profile holds the history, goals and records you have chosen to keep for that student.
Step 2: Ask about goals and history before the session
Ask MySLP about their goals, history and past findings. For example:
"Summarize this student's current goals and history. What did the most recent findings in the profile show?"
Step 3: Read the answer, then check the source
MySLP answers from the information you choose to keep in the profile. Its answer is advisory. Check the source record before you rely on it.
Step 4: Carry the context forward
Then carry that context into your next plan, note or progress report draft (in beta), all for the same student in the same place.
Who stays in charge?
You do. MySLP drafts and prepares. The SLP reviews every result and stays in charge.
EASI is HIPAA and FERPA compliant, with a BAA and insurance.
