How does MySLP use student profiles?
MySLP works with the information you choose to keep in a student or patient profile in EASI. When you ask a question inside a profile, MySLP draws on what is saved there, such as history and goals, so the answer fits that student. You decide what goes in the profile, so you decide what MySLP has to work with.
What can you ask MySLP to do?
Inside a profile, you can:
- Ask about a student's history and goals.
- Have it prepare session ideas for your next visit.
- Have it prepare core boards and picture cards.
- Have it prepare progress report drafts (in beta).
Each of these is a starting point. You read it, keep what fits, change what does not, and decide what to use.
Who makes the clinical decisions?
You do. MySLP helps you notice and prepare. You interpret and decide. It does not make clinical decisions, and it does not decide eligibility. Every answer and every draft is for your review before you use it, and you stay in charge of your student's care.
Is MySLP secure?
EASI is HIPAA and FERPA compliant, with a BAA and insurance. MySLP is built into EASI.
